Altamonte Springs police release names in possible murder-suicide

ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. — Altamonte Springs say they found Zoltan and Ildiko Papp, husband and wife, dead inside the home around 4:20 a.m. Wednesday while responding to the residence in the Spring Oaks subdivision for a well-being check.

Zolton was found with a fatal gunshot wound, but authorities did not release the cause of death for Ildiko, pending a report from the medical examiner’s office, police said.

There were also two teens inside the home at the time but both were unharmed.

Detectives said they are actively investigating the incident and believe it was a murder-suicide.
