UPDATE: Missing child alert canceled after 14-year-old girl found safe in Seminole County

WINTER SPRINGS, Fla. — A 14-year-old girl who was reported missing Wednesday has been found safe.

8 a.m. update:

FDLE said a missing child alert out of Seminole County has been canceled after 14-year-old Kyleigh Curtis was found safe.

An alert was sent out Wednesday morning for a teenager reported missing in Seminole County.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement issued a missing child alert for 14-year-old Kyleigh Curtis.

Police said Kyleigh was last seen in the 1100 block of North Highway 17-92 in Winter Springs.

She is around 5 feet, 1 inch tall, and weighs around 95 pounds.

Police said she has a small birthmark on her left arm.

She was last seen wearing a hot pink hoodie, light pink sweatpants and black shoes.

She may also be carrying two small, white bags.

Anyone who knows her whereabouts is asked to call the Winter Springs Police Department at 407-327-100 or 911.
