VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. — Emergency responders were on the scene of several major accidents in Volusia County, Saturday night.
Police are searching for the driver who struck two people, including a 14-year-old girl and took off. The teen was airlifted after being hit by a car on South Spring Garden Avenue in Deland.
Volusia County investigators were also working on two fatal crashes involving motorcycles.
Investigators told WFTV a car ran into a group of bikes in Ormond Beach off Highbridge Road and Ocean Shore Boulevard. At least one person was killed and several people were hurt.
There was also another motorcycle crash reported on County Road 305 near McGlon Road in Seville. At least one person was killed in that crash.
