WINTER SPRINGS, Fla. — A 3-month-old baby was hospitalized with burns following a cooking fire in a Winter Springs house Thursday evening.
According to Seminole County Fire Rescue officials, the child was taken to a hospital with major burns to the face and arms. Investigators said the baby had first-degree burns on 9 percent of the infant.
Investigators said a grease fire started in the kitchen of a home on San Gabriel Court and was confined to the kitchen.
