Smoking baggage belt brings fire crews to OIA

ORLANDO, Fla. — Smoke from a baggage belt brought fire crews to the terminal at Orlando International Airport late Wednesday afternoon.

According to airport officials a baggage belt began to smolder. They said there was no fire.

Airport officials said people have been moved away from the area while investigators are at the scene.

There were no evacuations and the airport has resumed normal activities, according to officials.

Earlier this month a fire damaged the baggage area in Terminal B.
