ORLANDO, Fla. — The extreme heat will continue in Central Florida through the weekend.
“It’s been so hot,” meteorologist Kassandra Crimi said.
Temperatures will climb to 96 degrees in Orlando on Friday.
On Saturday, temps will soar to 98 degrees.
Our rain and storm chance will increase this weekend.
We will have widespread showers and thunderstorms across Central Florida.
“If your yard is needing that water, we’ve got about another day before we get help from mother nature,” Crimi said.
If you’re looking for some relief from the heat, temperatures will drop slightly next week but will remain in the 90s.
