CAPE CANAVERAL SFS, Fla. — SpaceX successfully launches its telecommunication satellite early Saturday morning.

7 a.m. Update: SpaceX finally got its Falcon 9 rocket into space at 1:22 a.m.

It was delayed twice to allow extra time for data review.

The mission had the rocket carrying a TV satellite.

The booster landed on the Just Read the Instructions drone ship just minutes after liftoff.

Update: SpaceX is targeting 1:22 a.m. for the launch.

The nearly hour and 40-minute launch window was originally scheduled to open at 11:26 p.m., but was later delayed by an hour to 12:26 a.m.

SpaceX says they need additional time to allow for a data review.

The Eutelsat Hotbird 13F satellite, developed by satellite manufacturer Airbus for Eutelsat in partnership with the European Space Agency, will broadcast signals to homes in Europe, Northern Africa,

This is the third launch of this particular Falcon 9 booster.

Previous missions included CRS-24 and one Starlink mission.

If the launch does not happen Friday, a second launch opportunity at the same time is available on Saturday, Oct. 15.
