SpaceX set for Falcon Heavy rocket launch from Florida’s Space Coast next week

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — SpaceX crews are preparing to launch a Falcon Heavy rocket from Florida’s Space Coast.

The Falcon Heavy’s 57-minute launch window is set to open Tuesday at 7:29 p.m. from the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.

This will be SpaceX’s 6th Falcon Heavy launch overall and 2nd for the year.

The last Falcon Heavy launch was in January and carried two communication satellites and other equipment for the U.S. Space Force.

Tuesday’s planned launch aims to send a broadband communications satellite, as well as a spacecraft into orbit.

In February, SpaceX officials said it could fly up to 5 Falcon Heavy missions this year.
