ORLANDO, Fla. — 5:30 p.m. Update:
Moderate to heavy downpours will continue through late Saturday evening ahead of a storm system.
We’ll also have scattered rain on Monday, but a pair of fronts are on the way to give us a #FallMakeover soon.
Our next round of steady rain is Thursday and this system will usher in a prolonged Fall bout of weather and the coolest of the season for Halloween weekend.
A stationary front will sit just south of us on Sunday, helping our rain chance out this afternoon and evening.
We will see a 40% chance for rain and isolated storms on Sunday.
This pattern will stick around until Monday, before drying out Tuesday and Wednesday.
Sunday will see mostly cloudy skies and warm temperatures with highs in the mid-and-upper 80s.
For those wanting some more fall changes, they are in the forecast. A pre-Halloween front will bring not only another chance for rain and storms, but it will also bring some cooler weather.
Highs are expected to peak in the 70s Friday and Saturday.
