DELAND, Fla. — Stetson Mansion will reopen for its annual Christmas tours Nov. 1, welcoming visitors into 10 decorated rooms at the historic DeLand estate.

The attraction, also known as the Christmas Mansion, will offer guided and self-guided tours through Jan. 17, 2027. Organizers said bilingual Spanish tours will debut this season.

The holiday event returns to an estate Channel 9 previously reported was recognized among Tripadvisor’s top 10 U.S. attractions in 2022.

What visitors will see

This year’s room themes include Christmas Takes Flight, Royal Nutcracker, Seaside Coastal Christmas, Winter’s Grace and Christmas by Candlelight.

Organizers said tours will be offered three to seven times daily, including evening options.

“We are grateful for the opportunity to share history and festivity with visitors and members of our community,” owner Kayla Jennings said in the announcement.

The mansion was built in 1886 for hatmaker John B. Stetson. It remains a private residence and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Tickets and planning your visit

The mansion is at 1031 Camphor Lane in DeLand.

Adult tickets are listed at $29.50 for self-guided tours and $39.50 for guided tours, plus a $4 booking fee per ticket and 6.5% tax. Youth and select discounted rates are available, and parking is free.

Tours take approximately 60 to 70 minutes. Visitors should reserve online before arriving because availability is limited.

The mansion asks guests to wear flat shoes. High heels and photography or video inside the home are not permitted.

Accessibility is limited in the historic building. A portable entry ramp is available for first-floor wheelchair access, but reaching the second floor requires climbing 16 steps.

Check tour availability, ticket options and visitor information on the Stetson Mansion website.

New custom-hat experience

The mansion is also introducing a Hat Experience, allowing guests to design, shape and embellish a Stetson hat with assistance from a professional team.

Organizers said the estate is expanding its merchandise offerings to include Stetson apparel, hats, wallets and women’s clutches.
