Sunset Bodego in Lake Eola reopens just days after closing amid community support

ORLANDO, Fla. — A long-anticipated coffee shop and convenience store near Lake Eola and Thornton Park announced that it is reopening just two days after its initial soft-opening.

The Sunset Bodega announced that “after tons of support from the community and several days of getting to understand what we can do better we have decided to REOPEN immediately.”

The Sunset Bodega said they will be working closely with city officials in order to get the proper help needed to clear the vast number of hurdles.

The owner joked that “It may take until 2026 to get everything we need, but we are committed to getting it done.”
