This 5-star Central Florida hotel has a doctor on staff, offers IV therapy

KISSIMMEE, Fla. — Visit Florida estimates that more than 137 million tourists came to our state last year, with Orlando and Kissimmee were the top destination.

Now, local tourism officials say a luxury business model is tapping into a unique and unmet tourist need.

Earthy, True, Timeless and Elegant make up the “Ette” in Ette Hotel.

“Our suites are all equipped with our Peloton machines. We can valet weights to your room,” hotel owner Alex Ekbatani said. “(There will be) a full-time doctor in case it’s needed for a full checkup (or) examination, all kinds of IV therapies, vitamin injections.”

The hotel was built with wellness in mind. It’s a unique luxury concept amid a wide variety of tourist-friendly affordable options just minutes from Walt Disney World.

“You’re starting to see a lot more of the upscale product coming in that part of 192 with Margaritaville, Embassy Suites, Ette Hotel,” said DT Minich, president and CEO of Experience Kissimmee. “And so that add really brings the bar up to a standard of luxury that we’ve never seen in Osceola County.”

The Ette Hotel averages $300 and $500 a night.

“I’m always a big believer of, if value is greater than price, you have a sale. so have embodied a lot of elements in the hotel to make sure that, you know, guests have an incredible experience.”

The Ette Hotel opened last June and has started a trend, with another 5-star hotel set for just down the street.
