BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. — Three teenagers are safe after their boat capsized Monday night approximately two miles from Port Everglades.
Broward County deputies were the first to reach the scene and bring the teens to safety.
Deputies safely reached all three teenagers, who were uninjured following the capsize.
All three were transported back to land without incident.
Investigators said the teenagers used the light on a phone to help deputies pinpoint their location in the water.
