Universal CityWalk implements weekend curfew for minors

ORLANDO, Fla. — Universal Orlando Resort has announced changes to its weekend operations at Universal CityWalk involving guests under 18.


Minors must leave CityWalk at 9 p.m. unless they are accompanied by a parent or guardian, staying at a Universal hotel or seeing a movie at Universal CityWalk, Universal officials confirmed.

The curfew is for the weekends, but that is subject to change, Universal said.

The new rule comes after a fight between juveniles in a parking garage last month resulted in panic, leading to rumors being spread on social media there was an active shooter at CityWalk.
