The Mardi Gras parade also returns. This year’s theme is Planet Mardi Gras and will incorporate six detailed floats that fuse Mardi Gras with cosmic-inspired elements such as comets, rockets, martians and more. Those new floats will join the lineup of Universal’s traditional floats such as the jester and King Gator that wind through Universal Studios on select dates.
An array of delicious culinary delicacies inspired by locations across the globe will also be available throughout the park. Some of the dishes offered this year include crawfish boil, beignets, coconut curry shrimp laksa, vegan samosa, salchipapas and more.
Mardi Gras-inspired cuisine will also be available at select CityWalk venues.
The tribute story will offer Mardi Gras gear and themed treats throughout four highly themed rooms.
