Universal Orlando looks to local school to fill theme park jobs

ORLANDO, Fla. — Universal Orlando Resort is looking to hire hospitality workers and the theme park giant believes it doesn’t need to look far to tap into the talent pool.

On Wednesday, Universal is hosting a job fair specifically for students and alumni of UCF’s Rosen College of Hospitality Management.

The event is being held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the school’s Orlando campus.

“Our industry partners are always engaged with the college and this Universal Orlando Resort event is just another demonstration of how we work hand-in-hand to keep Central Florida’s economy going,” said Youcheng Wang, dean of UCF Rosen College.

In addition to the career fair, students can attend a leadership session and mingle with some of Universal’s characters.

A fourth theme park, Universal’s Epic Universe, is under construction less than a mile from the Rosen College campus.
