Universal Studios is going ‘beyond the bayou’ for Mardi Gras 2023

ORLANDO, Fla. — Universal has announced its dates for Mardi Gras next year with diverse floats and cuisine playing a major role in the event.


Universal’s Mardi Gras: International Flavors of Carnaval will take place running daily from Feb. 4 through Apr. 16, 2023.

Guests will get to experience the colorful parade floats while beads are being thrown throughout the parade route.

The park revealed that the celebration will feature mouth watering cuisines, inspired by Carnaval celebrations from New Orleans to Brazil to Belgium and beyond.

Those visiting on select nights can also see live concerts by top names in music.

Universal has said that it will reveal more details soon — including the concert lineup and dates, the selection of food and beverages and the parade theme.

All Mardi Gras events are free with park admission.
