• US Coast Guard offloads $12 million in cocaine

    ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - The U.S. Coast Guard has dropped off more than $12 million of cocaine in St. Petersburg.
     
    Coast Guard officials tell the Tampa Bay Times that the cocaine was seized off the waters of northeast Panama in early February.
     
    The Coast Guard offloaded the drugs early Sunday at the agency's St. Petersburg sector headquarters.
