Volunteers set to make improvements to Give Kids the World Village on Monday

KISSIMMEE, Fla. — On Monday, volunteers from around Central Florida will spend the day making repairs to the Give the Kids the World Village in Kissimmee.

From 8:30 a.m. - 3 p.m. AGC Charities and local contractor Wharton-Smith will be coordinating dozens of volunteers to work on some improvements to the organization’s facility.

Give Kids the World is a nonprofit resort that provides week-long, cost-free wish vacations to critically ill children and their families from around the world who want to visit Central Florida.

Volunteers will build new fencing, paint and make other upgrades to the facility throughout the day.
