11-year-old reported missing in Daytona Beach found safe, police say

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — An 11-year-old boy who was reported missing for the second time on Sunday has been found safe, according to Daytona Beach police.

7:15 p.m. update:

Police confirmed Sunday evening that an 11-year-old boy who was reported missing has been found safe.

No other details about his disappearance or recovery have been released by law enforcement.

Daytona Beach police said Sunday that an 11-year-old boy who went missing on Jan. 20 is once again missing.

According to the police, Eleaser Johnson was last seen at his home on North Wild Olive Avenue around 1:45 p.m. on Sunday.

Johnson went missing 10 days ago and was discovered in the Jacksonville area after falling asleep in the back of a truck.

Police said that they believe Johnson ran away again and that they don’t know where he is.

Its does no appear that he is any danger, according to a news release.

Johnson is about five feet tall and is wearing a black t-shirt, blue jeans and black sneakers.
