Woman hit by forklift in Daytona Beach Shores

DAYTONA BEACH SHORES, Fla. — A woman was injured Monday when she was hit by a forklift in Daytona Beach Shores.

Public Safety Director Michael Fowler said the forklift was unloading materials and bringing them onto the property at 2115 S. Atlantic Ave. when she was hit.

Fowler said the woman is in critical condition.

Channel 9 is on the scene working to gather additional information.
