ORLANDO, Fla. — Several Orange County deputies have been nominated for 2023 RISE Awards because of their heroic actions.

Orange County Deputy William Puzynski was nominated for saving a toddler from a burning apartment.
He scaled a burning building in Oak Ridge in April to save the one-year-old girl’s life. Click here to cast your vote for him.

Several other Orange County deputies are nominated for the award after rescuing a woman trapped in raging floodwaters during Hurricane Ian.
