LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. — Halloween festivities have ended at Walt Disney World Resort, making room for the holiday season to begin.
Workers transformed the Magic Kingdom park into a winter wonderland Wednesday with holiday magic.
It was the first day of a multiday transformation across the four theme parks and over 30 hotels.
There will also be a few holiday-themed night projections since this is the last holiday season during the 50th-anniversary celebration, which will end next year.
The Magic Kingdom holiday decorations will include the following:
- Snow each night on Main Street, U.S.A.
- Decorated shop windows.
- Seasonal entertainment.
- Holiday overlays for specific attractions.
- A 65-foot-tall Christmas tree.
