WATCH: Carnival cruise ship damaged by rough seas off Carolina coast

CHARLESTON, S.C. — A Carnival Cruise Line cruise ship is being repaired after it was battered by storms.


Videos from inside the Carnival Sunshine show flooded hallways and floating debris from damage.

Passengers said the ship encountered the rough seas off the coast of Charleston, South Carolina.

The ship was behind schedule, arriving from the Bahamas, and ran into a storm moving north of Florida.

Passengers said it shattered glass and sent water into rooms and hallways.

They also said there was little communication from the crew.
