WATCH: SpaceX successfully launches OneWeb mission, lands rocket booster

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — SpaceX successfully launched another Falcon 9 rocket from Florida’s Space Coast on Thursday afternoon.

The company sent another batch of OneWeb satellites into low-Earth orbit.

SpaceX launched the OneWeb Launch 17 mission with a Falcon 9 rocket.

The rocket blasted off at 2:13 p.m.

SpaceX also landed its first stage booster back onto the ground at Landing Zone 1 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. See video of the launch above.

As the rocket booster neared the ground for its landing, it was possible that residents could hear a sonic boom. See video of the launch and landing above.

SpeceX said the first stage booster supporting this mission has been previously 12 times, including the GPS III Space Vehicle 04, GPS III Space Vehicle 05, Inspiration-4, Ax-1, Nilesat 301, and seven Starlink missions.
