Welcome to Rockville, Strongman Games to bring thousands of people to Daytona Beach this weekend

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — Power-lifters and rock stars are bringing tens of thousands of people out to Daytona Beach this weekend.

The four-day Welcome to Rockville concert is expected to draw 40,000 people each day to the Speedway and the Strongman Games anticipates bringing in another thousand people from 22 different counties to the Ocean Center.

The events look to be a big boost to local hotels and restaurants that would normally be slow this time of year.
