SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. — A United States Marine from Seminole County was killed while fighting the war in Afghanistan.
Military officials said Gunnery Sergeant Floyd Holley was in Helmand Province when he was killed on Sunday.
Holley grew up in Casselberry, graduated from Lyman High School and joined the U.S. Marines in 1997. He served in Iraq before deploying to Afghanistan.
