SANFORD, Fla. — Sanford police were on the scene of a shooting near the Seminole Towne Center Friday morning.
Police said a man was shot in both of his arms.
According to police the 7 a.m. shooting was not related to Black Friday shopping.
Police believe the shooting was the result of a fight that started from a night out in Orlando and ended up the Seminole Towne Center parking lot.
Police said the shooting victim was transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
Several police cars were outside the Steak 'n Shake restaurant near the mall and police had crime scene tape stretching across the restaurant's parking lot.
