ORLANDO, Fla. — Repairs have started on Orlando's iconic Lake Eola fountain.

The city is spending about $30,000 to fix a motor that will send water flowing over the dome again, but this is a temporary fix to keep it from baking in the summer heat.
These repairs are set to be done by July. The city is waiting on an insurance settlement to do a complete $1 million makeover.
The fountain hasn't worked since a lightning strike last year.
