Summer Camps at SeaWorld Orlando

Summer is just around the corner, and there are really unique summer camp opportunities at SeaWorld Orlando.

SeaWorld has provided safe, fun and educational camp experiences for kids of all ages for almost 25 years in the not-so-traditional setting of a world-class theme park.

SeaWorld Camps offer children from preschool to high school the chance to have person experience with exotic animals and foster a love of the environment and wildlife.

At the camps, children get first-hand experience by working hand-in-hand with SeaWorld’s veterinarians, animal trainers, and animal care staff.

While learning and animal interactions are the larger focus of SeaWorld Camps, campers also make crafts, explore the outdoors, and ride great attractions.

There are three types of camp offerings at SeaWorld. Traditional “sleep-away’ resident camps, day camps, and single-night sleepover programs.

There are three traditional "sleep-away" resident camps at SeaWorld Orlando, and while these are focused towards campers in grades 7-12 they offer adventures that would make any adult jealous! These Resident Camps are incredibly immersive and offer experiences that are beyond amazing. For more information, take a look at their camp brochure! Seriously, these camps are a great experience for older campers who are really interested in pursuing a career and further studies in this field!

There are a large amount of day camps offered at SeaWorld Orlando! For preschoolers, a parent and child camp call Seafari is a great introduction to animals which include up-close animal encounters, fun activities and take home crafts, and snacks. As the campers get older, the focus and scope of the day camps change. Day camps have focuses from animal habitats to marine biology to career education. If you have an older child that is an animal enthusiast, there is a camp to fit their interests! All the K-8th Grade day camps include up-close animal encounters, fun activities and take-home crafts, secure camper pick-up and drop-off system, lunch and snacks each day, and a complimentary t-shirt and water bottle.

And for an extremely special night, there are even sleepover opportunities where you can spend the night in the SeaWorld Orlando park!

We all have fond summer camp memories, and a study by the American Camp Association (ACA) revealed that over 90 percent of campers felt their summer camp experience made them feel good about themselves and helped them make new friends. Also 70 percent of parents of campers said that summer camp improved their child’s self-confidence.

It is important to know that SeaWorld Camps are accredited by the American Camp Association (ACA), a nationally recognized association focused on health, safety and program quality. ACA assists the public to choose camps and works to preserve, promote and improve the camp experience.
