One of President Donald Trump’s State of the Union guests is an 11-year-old boy who says his life is miserable because he shares Trump's last name.
Joshua Trump, who is a sixth-grader from Wilmington, Delaware, has been cursed at and bullied at school for years, according to his mother, Megan Trump Berto.

The abuse toward Joshua because of his last name became so bad that at one point, he was taken out of school and homeschooled. Joshua is not related to the president.
"They curse at him. They call him an idiot. They call him stupid," his mother told a television station last year. "He said he hates himself, and he hates his last name, and he feels sad all the time, and he doesn't want to live feeling like that anymore, and as a parent, that's scary," Trump Berto said in the interview.

According to a news release from the White House, Joshua likes science, art and history. He wants to have a career where he can work with animals.
“His hero and best friend is his Uncle Cody, who serves in the United States Air Force,” the White House said.
On Monday, the White House
the president and first lady Melania Trump have invited to attend the speech.
