Doodle for Google: Vote for upcoming Google Doodle

Google is trying to find the next Google Doodle and they’ve selected 54 different designs to compete for the coveted banner.

Google users now can vote for the top image from a field of 54 images that will be featured on Google’s homepage.

The images were compiled from students in each of the 50 states and four U.S. territories.

The 54 images will be pared down to five national finalists from which a winner will be chosen.

The national winner will have their art displayed on Google.com for a day. They will also win a $30,000 college scholarship, $50,000 technology package for their school or nonprofit organization, Google hardware and Google-branded gifts.

The other four finalists will get a $5,000 scholarship, hardware and Google-branded items.

The state and territory winners received the hardware and gift packages.

All of the winners will have their art featured in the Doodle for Google gallery as well.

Voters can select one image from each of the five grade groups. The deadline to make your choices is Aug. 21 at 11:59 p.m. PDT.
