Mayim Bialik will host three weeks of episodes, or 15 shows, when production restarts this week, CNN reported.

Other guest hosts will be announced at a later date, Variety reported.

Bialik had been tapped to host special events for the quiz show while Mike Richards, “Jeopardy!” executive producer, had been selected to be the main host to permanently replace Alex Trebek, who died of cancer last year.

But only nine days after being chosen as Trebek’s replacement, Richards announced last week that he was stepping down as host, but will remain as executive producer, Richards’ announcement came after past disparaging remarks made on his podcast against women and other groups came to light, Variety reported. Richards’ comments were first reported by The Ringer website.

Richards had taped some episodes as host and they will air as scheduled. Normally the crews tape a week’s worth of episodes in a single day, CNN reported.

Some are speculating that Ken Jennings or Bialik are now the front-runners for the hosting gig, CNN reported.
