Traditionally, many families give Mom a special outing on Mother’s Day with a special brunch or lunch at her favorite restaurant.
But Mother’s Day 2020 won’t be traditional. The coronavirus will change plans for most families, but it doesn’t have to be all bad.
While some restaurants are opening up for Mother’s Day weekend with limited seating, most are not. But restaurants that have stayed open during the pandemic, offering takeout and delivery services, will continue to do so this weekend and many are offering special deals for Mother’s Day.
Here are some restaurants open for Mother’s Day meals:

Featuring: The Caribbean Mother’s Day bundle includes a choice of entrée (jerk chicken pasta, seafood paella or grilled chicken with cilantro crema), salad, and a Chocolate Island dessert.

Featuring: The Farmhouse Feast, which includes a choice between sliced ham and sliced turkey breast. The meal includes dressing, mashed potatoes, corn, green beans, cranberry relish, gravy, rolls, and Cherry Supreme Pie. You can place your orders up until Friday for pickup on Saturday.

Featuring: The Mahi & Shrimp Family Bundle includes salad, mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables, fresh bread, cheesecake, and cookies. The bundle feeds five. Order from Friday through Sunday. On Sunday, for every $50 spent in gift cards, guests receive a $10 e-gift card for use all through December 31.

Featuring: A three-course family-style Mother’s Day dinner of beef tenderloin and the choice of jumbo shrimp or lobster tails. The dinner also includes green beans, mashed potatoes, a flourless chocolate espresso cake, and lemon tea cookies. You must pre-order. Available while stocks last.
Some locations are open for service; most are offering takeout and delivery.
Featuring: Carrabba’s is offering a family bundle with the choice of entrées plus fresh bread and salad. The bundle is available curbside or carryout only. It serves up to five people.
