UPPER SAINT CLAIR, Pa. — A 3-month-old boy died Thursday when he was left alone in a vehicle in a suburban Pittsburgh city, authorities said.
Officers from the Allegheny County Police Department were called to a site in Upper St. Clair, located about 10 miles southwest of Pittsburgh, at about 5 p.m. EDT, WPXI-TV reported.
Officers discovered an unresponsive child at the scene, according to the television station.

Paramedics attempted to save the child, but the boy was pronounced dead at the scene, WPXI reported.
Authorities said the child was left inside the vehicle for “several hours.”
It is not clear if charges have been filed in the case, according to WPXI.
