Pi Day 2022: 5 delectable deals for pie lovers

Monday is Pi Day, and lovers of both sweet and savory pies have plenty of ways to celebrate.

According to The Associated Press, the “holiday,” which falls on March 14, pays tribute to the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter – commonly rounded to 3.14. Luckily for foodies, the restaurant industry has embraced Pi Day as a way to drum up business with delectable deals on pies.

Here are five offers you won’t want to miss:

1. The Honey Baked Ham Co.

Feel like indulging in a sweet, traditional treat? On Monday, some Honey Baked Ham locations will honor a coupon for a $3.14 discount on an Apple Caramel Walnut Pie. For a list of locations that aren’t participating in the promotion, click here.

2. 7-Eleven and Speedway

Do you prefer pies of the savory variety? 7-Eleven and Speedway rewards club members can score an entire pizza on Monday for $3.14 at participating locations, the company announced in a news release. Just head to a store to pick up your pie, or have one delivered using the 7NOW app.

3. Your Pie

From Monday through Wednesday, members of Your Pie Rewards can get a $3.14 discount on a 10-inch pizza at participating locations. The coupon also can be redeemed online, the chain said.

4. Goldbelly

Dessert lovers can get up to 30% off the cost of certain pie orders placed on the Goldbelly website Monday.

5. Blaze Pizza

Patrons who sign up for the Blaze Rewards program by Monday can claim a coupon to get an 11-inch pizza for $3.14 at participating locations, the chain said in a news release. The offer can be used one time only from Monday through March 31.
