MT. LEBANON, Pa. — Police in a suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, faced an unusual task when they were called to wrangle a peacock on the loose.
In a Facebook post, the Mt. Lebanon Police Department shared a video showing a peacock running from police and trying to fly away. A photo shows an officer holding the animal. In the post, officers said, “Just another typical Monday with a Peacock running loose.”
Just another typical Monday with a Peacock running loose in Lebo…. After a brief chase the bird was captured safely. Now to figure out where it came from…

After a brief chase, police officers were able to catch the bird safely, WPXI reported.
At this point, officers say they don’t know where the peacock came from.
