Teacher Appreciation Week: Deals and freebies for teachers and school staff

To celebrate teachers and school staff across the country, companies are offering deals and freebies on food, clothing and services.

The deals below require a valid ID from a school. Some meal deals require that you dine in.

Teacher Appreciation Day deals 2022:

Adidas: Get 30% off its teachers’ shoes collection. Must have a valid ID.

Applebee’s: Teachers can get a 20% discount from any participating Applebee’s this week.

AT&T: Get a 25% discount on eligible unlimited wireless plans. You must show proof you are a school employee.

Barnes and Noble: Get a free cup of hot or iced coffee or tea at participating Barnes & Noble cafes on Tuesday when you show school ID.

Buffalo Wild Wings: Teachers and school staff get 20% off their order when they show their school ID. The discount is available for dine-in or in-store pay and pickup only, and it lasts throughout this week.

Champion: Educators and school staff can get 10% off online orders.

Freddy’s: Show your school ID and get a free single-topping mini sundae. The deal lasts through Friday.

Great American Cookies: Teachers can get a free Original Chocolate Chip Cookie through Friday with any purchase. You must have a valid ID.

Insomnia Cookies: Teachers can get a free six-pack of cookies with a $5 in-store purchase through 3 a.m. Saturday.

Laffy Taffy: Laffy Taffy will send 500 teachers – 100 teachers each day – a free care package. Registration is required. To register, teachers must submit their favorite jokes between Monday and Friday. Parents and students can also nominate teachers to receive a care package.

Lululemon: A coach or trainer can get a 25% Lululemon discount. Apply online to join the company’s “Sweat Collective.”

Marble Slab Creamery: Teachers can get a buy-one-get-one-free small ice cream through Friday. A valid ID is needed.

Mattress Firm: School faculty can get a 10%-20% discount at Mattress Firm. You will need to get verified through SheerID, and then they will receive a single-use coupon code that can be used in-store or online.

Nekter Juice Bar: Get a 16 ounce superfood smoothie for $3 with valid ID at participating locations.

O’Charley’s: Through Friday, O’Charley’s is giving teachers a free dessert with the purchase of an entree. Must have a valid ID or badge. Dine-in only.

Office Depot and OfficeMax: Through June 25, teachers can get 20% off qualifying regular-priced purchases and 20% back in Bonus Rewards on a qualifying purchase — up to $50 in rewards. You must present a valid ID, a coupon and a rewards member number. To redeem either deal, teachers must present a valid teacher ID, a coupon and a rewards member number. Coupons are available at Officedepot.com/cm/rewards/exclusive-savings.

Potbelly: Starting Monday, teachers can get a free cookie or free regular-sized fountain drink when buying an entree. You must show a school ID. The deal ends on Sunday.

Sonic: Teachers, faculty and staff can get a free cheeseburger with a purchase. You have to enroll in Sonic’s Teacher’s Circle.

Staples: From Monday through Saturday, Staples customers can download the Staples Connect app and give teachers or schools 20% back in classroom rewards or in-store purchases. Customers will get up to 5% back in Staples rewards. Teachers will receive 20% back in classroom rewards on their purchases.

Whataburger: Through Friday, Whataburger is giving teachers free breakfast items and a 24% discount on retail items in the company store. Use the code WHATATEACHER22.

Zaxby’s: Get a buy-one-get-one deal for teachers and nurses Tuesday. Buy a boneless wings meal and get a second boneless wings meal free, while supplies last, at participating locations.
