FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. — A Washington state woman and her two sons were arrested in Arizona on Wednesday, charged in connection with her husband’s homicide in September 2021, authorities said.
Brenda Rasmussen, 55, Andrew Jones, 34, and Danny Jones, 31, are accused in the death of Jerry Rasmussen, The Arizona Republic reported. They were arrested in Mohave County, KOLD-TV reported.
Brenda Rasmussen initially reported that Jerry Rasmussen, 64, went missing, according to the U.S. Marshals Service.

After further investigation, the Stevens County Sheriff’s Office in Washington found his body on Dec. 1 in concrete under a newly installed shed behind their home, the Republic reported. Investigators determined that Jerry Rasmussen had been shot in the head and then was buried under the shed, according to KXLY-TV.
The three suspects then fled Washington, the television station reported.
On Jan. 28, 2022, marshals received information that indicated the three fugitives were in Mohave County, KNXV-TV reported.
On Tuesday, the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office and U.S. Marshals served warrants on a residence and a business, the television station reported.
The trio was located and arrested in Flagstaff, according to the Republic.
All three suspects were booked into Mohave County Detention Center and are awaiting extradition, according to KNXV.
