Wrestler Seth Rollins was attacked by a fan during Monday evening’s WWE Monday Night Raw.

A fan, later identified as Elisah Spencer, 24, tackled Rollins, whose real name is Colby Lopez, at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, ESPN reported.

It happened after Rollins appeared in a segment with wrestler Finn Balor.

Police said Spencer jumped over a metal barricade and attacked Rollins, which was broadcast live during the match. Once WWE officials realized it wasn’t part of the show, they cut away quickly, but it didn’t stop spectators from recording what was happening with their cell phones.

Rollins suffered a swollen lip, but he refused medical help.

The two fought until security guards and officials from the WWE broke it up.

Spencer has been charged with attempted assault and attempted violation of arts and cultural affairs, the New York Police Department said.

This wasn’t the first time that a wrestler was knocked down by a fan.

A fan tackled Bret “The Hitman” Hart during the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony at the Barclays Center in 2019, KTRK reported.
