Fourteen football players from Jones sign National Letters of Intent

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Jones High School in Orlando was a hot spot on National Signing Day Wednesday morning.

Fourteen Tigers signed National Letters of Intent to play college football, making the total 20 from this year when you factor in the early signing period in December. That makes over 116 Tigers that have gone on to play college football over the last seven years.

Head coach Elijah Willams was elated many of his seniors earned the opportunity to advance their careers on and off the field. Williams began the event by saying “It’s not how you start, it’s how you finish.” He mentioned it takes a village to help grow and nurture his student-athletes.

Jones finished this past season 11-3 including a 2022 regional championship.
