Afternoon thunderstorms likely for parts of Central Florida

ORLANDO, Fla. — There’s a chance of isolated afternoon thunderstorms for Tuesday as hurricane season officially begins.

Tuesday’s forecast will feature a mix of sun and clouds.

There’s a 30% chance of storms. Only a few storms will pop up Tuesday but we’ll see a better chance of afternoon storms later this week.

Daytime highs will reach 87 in Orlando.

It will be slightly breezy, with 10 to 15 mph winds.

Hurricane season goes until Nov. 30.
