ORLANDO, Fla. — The cold front that brought the surge in moisture to Central Florida producing storms and showers has moved south of Central Florida. Expect the weather to remain mostly calm overnight with lows dropping to the upper-60s to upper-70s.
The cold front is slowing down and will transition to a stationary front, very slow retracting northward on Tuesday. As it moves back north, a few morning showers could come back over our area early Tuesday. The most coverage will be affecting Brevard and Osceola Counties. Scattered showers over Metro areas. Much less coverage is forecast over rural northern areas.
Expect Tuesday afternoon to be hot and muggy. The winds will be from the west-southwest between 10 to 15 mph, fueling the heat across Central Florida. Highs will reach the upper-80s to low-90s.
