BEAUFORT COUNTY, SC — Tropical Storm Danny has made landfall just off the coast of South Carolina, according to the National Hurricane Center.
According to the latest NHC update, the storm hit land at 8 p.m. just North of Hilton Head on Pritchards Island, South Carolina with maximum sustained winds measured at 40 miles per hour.

Danny is moving toward the west-northwest at 16 mph and is expected to continue on that path over the next day or so, according to the NHC.
