9 things to know about Taste of Epcot International Food and Wine Festival

No matter how you say it, eating good food sounds the same in any language. And that’s just what another of the International Food and Wine Festival at Epcot shows.

But this year isn’t like any other year. With everything going on due to COVID-19, it’s no surprise that things are different for this year’s tasty festivities.

Here are 9 things you should know about this year’s unique International Food and Wine Festival, including how you can win free tickets courtesy of Channel 9!

1. This year marks the festival’s 25th anniversary.

2. Get your fill of tasty food and drinks from 20 marketplaces scattered throughout Epcot. Pick up an old favorite or find a new one. All menu items are subject to change without notice, the park website states. Read the full list of food here.

3. Food from the marketplace does require a separate purchase.

4. The festival opens when the park does, at 11 a.m.

5. The Taste of Epcot Food & Wine Festival has been a bit modified this year due to COVID-19. It started in July and ends sometime this fall, making it the longest festival yet.

6. What’s food and wine without a little music? The JAMMitors and Mariachi Cobre will be providing some around the park.

7. It’s not just for adults. Kids can have fun too with Remy’s Ratatouille Hide and Squeak Scavenger Hunt. Help Remy find ingredients throughout the park using a special map that is purchased separately.

8. Some menus do include special gluten-free, wheat-friendly and plant-based products.
