Walt Disney World cuts park hours; here’s what you need to know if you’re headed to the parks

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — “The Most Magical Place on Earth” is cutting its park hours.

Last month, the park announced that it was cutting park hours starting Tuesday.

Here are the new park hours:

  • Magic Kingdom: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Hollywood Studios: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Animal Kingdom: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Epcot: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Disney Springs will remain open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

This comes just after most Orlando theme parks reached their capacity over Labor Day weekend.

All four of Walt Disney World’s parks reached capacity both Saturday and Sunday.

Universal Orlando Resort’s Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure and Volcano Bay also reached their capacity both Saturday and Sunday.

Here are Universal Orlando Resort’s park hours:

Universal Studios: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Islands of Adventure: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Volcano Bay:

Monday, Wednesday and Friday: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Closed Tuesday and Thursday.

Saturday: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Sunday: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The theme parks are currently operating at 50% capacity due to the pandemic.
