Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park reopens with new ‘Frozen’ surprises

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. — Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park has reopened after months of refurbishment.

Blizzard Beach opened Sunday to guests after closing its doors in January.

Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park reopens with new ‘Frozen’ surprises

The water park will feature new elements from the Disney hit, “Frozen.”

Officials said the park will provide guests with “an array of arctic adventure amid the warm Florida climate.”

Despite reopening in the winter, Blizzard Beach will feature heated water throughout the park.

Walt Disney World also reopened its other water park, Typhoon Lagoon, in January after being closed nearly two years for refurbishments.
