9 things to do this weekend: Seminole County Fair, Taste of Oviedo, UCFest and more

ORLANDO, Fla. — Are you looking for something to do this weekend?

Here’s a list of nine events happening in Central Florida.

1. Seminole County Fair

The Seminole County Fair is starting this weekend.

The fair will feature state-of-the-art thrill rides, a Kiddieland designed especially for children, delicious fair food and challenging games of skill.

It will be held from March 25 to April 2 at 440 Hickman Drive in Sanford.

2. Art in Bloom: Festival of Fine Arts & Flowers

Orlando Museum of Art’s “Art in Bloom: Festival of Fine Arts and Flowers” will take place this weekend.

The festival will take place from Thursday to Sunday. It will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Tickets to the event cost $20.

3. Garth Brooks: The Stadium Tour

Garth Brooks is coming to Orlando’s Camping World Stadium on Saturday.

The concert will start at 7 p.m.

It will be Brooks’ first time at Camping World Stadium and his first time in Orlando in over five years.

The concert will be Brooks’ only stadium tour appearance in the state of Florida.

4. UCFest

University of Central Florida students can enjoy a free lineup of events this weekend.

Students with a valid UCF ID can take part in “Movie Knight,” “Concert Knight” and more.

5. Taste of Oviedo

The 28th Annual Taste of Oviedo is happening this weekend.

The event will feature food and beverages from local eateries, stage performances, Oviedo Roots Farmer’s Market and other family-friendly performances and activities.

It will take place at the Oviedo Mall from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday.

There is free parking available at the Oviedo Mall.

6. UpTown Art Expo

The UpTown Art Expo is happening this weekend at Cranes Roost Park.

The event features more than 140 artists, chalk street paintings, festival foods and live music.

The expo will run through Sunday.

7. 10th Annual Mayor’s Jazz in the Park

On Saturday, Orange County Parks and Recreation will present the 10th annual Mayor’s Jazz in the Park.

The event will take place from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Cypress Grove Park.

8. Orlando Magic vs. Sacramento Kings

If you want to check out a basketball game this weekend, the Orlando Magic will be playing the Sacramento Kings.

Tipoff is at 7 p.m. on Saturday.

9. Orlando Solar Bears vs. Greenville Swamp Rabbits

The Orlando Solar Bears also have a game scheduled at Amway Center this weekend.

They will take on the Greenville Swamp Rabbits.

The game starts at 3 p.m. on Sunday.
