Nine people went to the hospital as a precaution Saturday afternoon after a carnival ride accident at the Delta Fair in Memphis, the fair's owner said.
Delta Fair owner Mark Lovell told FOX13 a ride operator prematurely released the restraints on the MoonRaker ride. There were no serious injuries Lovell said.

The Shelby County Sheriff's Office initially said 14 people were thrown from the ride.
