Death investigation underway in Kissimmee after person struck by train, police say

KISSIMMEE, Fla. — Kissimmee police are conducting a death investigation Monday morning.

According to police, an adult was struck and killed by a train around 2 a.m.

Police have not confirm the gender of the victim at this time.

Police said the train is blocking the intersection of US-192 between Michigan Avenue and Main Street.

SunRail tweeted out that trains P313 SB is canceled, and P304 NB is canceled between Tupperware & DeBary due to police activity.

A Bus Bridge will be implemented between Tupperware and Kissimmee. All other trains are on time.
